(Knoxville, Tenn.) – Cazzy’s Corner Grill now honoring two co-workers with a scholarship.
On Sunday, January 24, a former employee of Cazzy’s Corner Grill in West Knoxville gunned down two other employees. KPD says 26-year-old Alexis Clayton and 50-year-old Rob Goebel died from their injuries.
A donation site has been created for a new scholarship in honor of the victims called Alexis Clayton and Rob Goebel Memorial Scholarship. Click here for more information on how to donate.
The scholarship is located at the Pellissippi State Community College foundation site. It will benefit a student in restaurant management, hospitality, and culinary arts programs.
The man investigators believe was the shooter, Christopher Robert MacGuire, 27, fatally shot himself after leaving the restaurant. KPD said the shooting happened after an altercation inside the restaurant.
