More than a dozen officers from the East Tennessee area are going to ride their bicycles from Hanover NJ to Washington D.C. in May during the Police Unity Tour. The goal is to bring awareness to law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty and to honor their sacrifices.
Team East Tennessee is riding in memory of Toby Keiser from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office who passed away in January.
Each officer must raise $1950 to participate.
They are also raising money for the Law Enforcement Memorial Fund and Law Enforcement Museum.
