HonorAir Knoxville has its 30th flight on Wednesday, April 3, 2022. More than 130 veterans will head to Washington D.C. to visit the U.S. Capital and the memorials built for them.
It’s an all expense paid trip for the veterans and they will return to the airport at 7:40 p.m. The public is encouraged to come out and give them a special welcome home at McGhee Tyson Airport.
HonorAir Knoxville was started in 2007 by State Representative Eddie Mannis. Donations are welcome to continue the HonorAir flights.
