Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee will host its 9 th
annual MAYDAY Radiothon on Tuesday, May 10 from 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
This one day event will raise funds for children in East Tennessee who are at risk of hunger. Donations will support Second Harvest’s Food for Kids and School Pantry programs.
“More than 12,600 children benefit from Food for Kids in 280 schools in Second Harvest’s service area. No one should ever have to wonder where their next meal is coming from. With Food for Kids and School Pantries, Second Harvest provides children and their families with the food they need to thrive,” said Elaine Streno,
Executive Director of Second Harvest Food Bank. “We need your donations to help us continue to fight hunger and feed hope in East Tennessee.”
