Dollywood has earned a position on the Knoxville News Sentinel’s Top Workplaces 2023 list, thanks to the results of an employee survey administered earlier this season.
According to Top Workplaces, award winners are determined on quantitative employee feedback and the statement and demographic information collected within the Top Workplaces Survey. The company has collected 23 million surveys from more than 70,000 organizations, making it one of the most accurate benchmarks available for measuring workplace sentiment. All lists are based solely on employee feedback.
“Our host culture here at Dollywood Parks & Resorts is what truly sets us apart from others in our industry,” said Eugene Naughton, Dollywood President. “Over the last several seasons, we’ve been honored multiple times with awards and recognition of our outstanding employee experience. Forbes has named us among ‘America’s Best Midsize Employers,’ and we were among the national Top Workplaces in 2022. Earning this regional award qualifies us to again be considered as a national Top Workplace.”
Of the more than 1,100 businesses ranked in the 2022 national competition, Dollywood was the only East Tennessee business to make the list. It also was the only theme park company recognized.

Energage, a purpose-driven organization that develops solutions to help build top workplaces, administers the survey. Results are calculated by comparing the survey’s research-based statements, including 15 “culture drivers” that are proven to predict high performance against industry benchmarks.
Available positions at the new HeartSong Lodge & Resort are posted at Dollywoodjobs.com, and several hiring events are scheduled over the next several days to give potential employees an opportunity to attend at the time that best suits their individual needs.

The next HeartSong Lodge & Resort hiring event takes place this Thursday, Aug. 24 at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa from noon – 4 p.m. Two hiring events are slated for the Sevierville Civic Center, the first on Aug. 29 (9 a.m. – 1 p.m.) and the second on Aug. 30 (3 p.m. – 7 p.m.). Applicants are encouraged to attend the earliest hiring event possible for the largest selection of available opportunities.
Open positions include housekeeping manager, guest relations manager, restaurant managers, security officers, banquet captains, front desk positions, servers, room attendants, trolley attendants, lifeguards and much more.
